Community Support

Kids Xpress

Kids Xpress is a children's mental health charity, that helps to transform the lives of children impacted by adversity. They deliver trauma-informed Expressive Therapy to children under the age of 12yrs and Education Services for those that care for them.

Blake Oliver Consulting has supported Kids Xpress for the past two years and has organised events for them through our relationship with GSA Insurance Brokers. Allianz send a team to this event every year.

‘Touch of Colour’ is an event that Blake Oliver Consulting has supported since 2018. Created by GSA Insurance Brokers in 2015, this event in Sydney is an annual celebrity touch football fundraiser where teams comprised of employees from Australia's insurance industry battle it out for the 'Touch of Colour Cup'. Ex-Rugby players volunteer to play matches in the first Insurance Industry Touch Football Competition.

All donations were received by Kids Xpress which greatly helps the children that Kids Xpress help and unlocks opportunities to provide them with support and opportunity.

Blake Oliver Consulting is an annual award sponsor for the Insurance Business Australia (IBA) Awards. In 2019, Managing Director Daniel J Marsh presented the General Insurer of the Year Award to Allianz COO, David Krawitz.

Young Guns

From 2021 we will be partnering with Insurance Business Australia ‘Young Guns’ Rising Stars List. This aligns our brand with upcoming future leaders within the industry.

CPD-Anytime

Our team are regular contributors to industry through leadership and professional development, with Managing Director Daniel J Marsh participating in interviews for CPD-Anytime to contribute to CPD points for industry members.

Cyber Social Events

Our team is committed to contributing to our industry through a variety of events including our Cyber Social Events. Led by our inhouse Cyber Specialist Hannah Morgans, Blake Oliver Consulting host cyber social events on a quarterly basis, to bring together industry experts for contribution and knowledge sharing.

Hannah will be a guest panel speaker for the fifth Cyber Insurance Summit in 2020.

Dress for Success

Some of our team spent time with Dress for Success, learning about their amazing initiatives to help women get back into the workforce and also helping in their warehouse and showroom

This charity reaches so many women returning to the workforce from all parts of society and was a humbling experience for all as well as a great way to use some of our recruitment skills for the greater good.

OzHarvest

Blake Oliver Consulting employees have volunteered at OzHarvest, Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, collecting quality excess food from commercial outlets and delivering it directly to more than 1300 charities supporting people in need across the country.
