Job Description

Blake Oliver are excited to announce our recent partnership with one of the most highly regarded Underwriting Agencies in Australia. Boasting a central CBD office location, with a partner office in Melbourne, our client is actively searching for thier next superstar PI Underwriter to join the team in Sydney.

About the Role

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients to facilitate the marketing, sale and training of the brand and products.
  • Providing input into product development and marketing plans including market research, competitor analysis, product design and geographic/segment focus.
  • Reviewing and negotiating policy terms and conditions including assisting with the production of manuscript policy wordings and endorsements.
  • Maintaining a face to face relationship with key clients and brokers
  • Maintain close working relationship with claim and risk management departments to ensure a business unit approach with facilitates the clients seamless delivery of underwriting services.

About Your Experience

  • Degree educated
  • 3+ years experience underwriting PI Insurance
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
