Blake Oliver are currently recruiting an Internal Account Executive position for an established broker based in the Southern Shire. Our clients specilise in a range of different Insurance products, be it SME, Financial lines all the way through to Construction or Motor.
As an Account Executive in the Insurance Sector this role will be supporting the administration of key client accounts and, as such, successful candidates must have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
The ideal candidates will have previous experience of General Insurance, where they will have been responsible for :
- Building relationships and interacting with external vendors/stakeholders e.g. external actuaries, re-insurance brokers and scheme agents
- Liaising with clients and underwriters
- Refining the support material to assist the Senior Account Managers
- Shadow Account Manager and attend client meetings
- Assisting with processing new business, issuing certificates of currency and processing renewals
- Creating and checking policy documentation, processing endorsements and raising invoices
- Assisting with the claims management process
- Monitoring and responding to enquiries
Key Requirements:
- Tier 1 Qualification
- 3-5 years+ experience as an assistant/account executive within an insurance or brokerage company
- Computer proficient with intermediate word, excel and keyboard skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Superior communication skills - written and verbal
- A self-starter who is flexible and adaptive
- Maintain a strong focus on attention to detail to ensure quality is always delivered
