ABOUT THE ROLE:
A fantastic opportunity currently exists for an experienced Credit Analyst to join a leading Premium Funding business based in Melbourne's CBD. This role will primarily focus on credit risk within the Insurance Premium Funding business, which provides short term financing to facilitate a business' payment of their annual insurance premiums, assisting to smooth their operating cashflow.
·Analysing the creditworthiness of counterparties and providing recommendations for the provision of funding
·Analysing the creditworthiness of insurers to ensure the portfolio of loans is adequately collateralized
·Reporting to the Senior Analyst
·Build strong relationships with clients
·Comfortable hitting and achieving KPI productivity & quality metrics
·Degree qualified preferably (ie: Accounting, Business or Commerce)
·Ability to analyse financial data including P&L, Balance Sheet
·Excellent attention to detail and ability to self-manage and show initiative
·High achievement drive: ability to self-manage and show initiative in carrying out responsibilities
·Strong relationship management skills: ability to build strong internal networks and influence key stakeholders.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
