Job Description
As a Claims Team leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of experience claims consultants across a variety of products while managing more complex matters yourself.
Your responsibilities will include –
- Manage a busy team of experienced Claims Consultants, including work allocation, mentoring, coaching, and providing technical guidance
- Handling more complex matters and escalations while managing a small portfolio of claims (liability and PI)
- Build and maintain strong client relations
- Review and manage operational performance including identifying and implementing new initiatives
About You –
- In-depth claims management experience with strong knowledge of the commercial products (including Professional Indemnity and/or Financial Lines)
- Strong people leadership experience with the proven ability to effectively lead a strong claims team
- Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Customer service focused
