Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading insurance organisation as part of their NSW workers compensation claims team. There are two newly created positions which will suit experienced case managers with a customer focused attitude. You will become part of an established team with supportive and encouraging leadership.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Manage a mixed portfolio of physical and psychological injuries
  • Determine liability
  • Focus on successful return to work and reduction of claim costs where possible
  • Proactively liaising with all relevant parties including all allied health professionals
  • Co-ordinate all claim reviews

Essential Requirements -

  • Proven ability to effectively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims
  • Allied health qualification would be advantageous but not essential
  • Sound understanding of relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Genuine desire to help people through the injury and recovery process
