Job Description
This business is a national insurance brokerage which has provided Business Insurance to individuals, small, medium and large businesses for over 35 years. They are a member of The Steadfast Group, a publicly listed company on the ASX (SDF).
An Assistant Account Executive required within their SME Commercial space. Based in the South Eastern Suburbs / Peninsula. Portfolio is focused on the SME Commercial space, assisting the Director and an Account Executive.
The Role:
- Processing new business
- Retaining clients through good relationships with clients and underwriters
- Processing renewals before due date to ensure clients are covered
- Processing Endorsements
- Assisting with claims processing
- The ability to manage a portfolio of existing business and assist the Director and Account Executive
Your Experience:
- Experience in an insurance broking firm
- Knowledge of commercial lines, Business Packs, SME or schemes/facilities
- Experience using winbeat and sunrise systems.
- Good attention to detail.
- Experience retaining clients and quoting new business.
- Enjoys working collaboratively with a team and is eager in supporting them.
- Works efficiently by being highly organised and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
Remuneration:
$70k-75k package, can be negotiable depending on experience and candidate.
