ABOUT THE ROLE:
One of Australia's most respected boutique insurance brokers operating from the South Eastern Suburbs is looking for a Business Support & Accounting Officer. Assisting the Operations Manager with the day to day running of the business operations including the management of the trust accounting process.
KEY DUTIES
·Management of premium trust accounting in accordance with compliance requirements; payments to underwriters, associates.
·General debtor management
·Monitoring and reporting of key financial information
·Execution of outgoing trust account payments to insurers, clients and associates
·Ensure timely processing of payments of external stakeholders
·Petty cash monitoring
·Operations management support; employee health & wellbeing, new starters induction, continuous improvement of policies & procedures.
·Portfolio Analysis; analysis/monitoring of client portfolios ensuring effective servicing of clients, ongoing analysis of premium funding.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
·Those from an Accounting background highly regarded
·Previous Accounts payable/receivable experience
·Advance excel skills
·Knowledge of Winbeat broking platform advantageous
·Independent, self starter
