Our client is one of Australia's leading privately-owned insurance brokerages, Steadfast IRS has a reputation for providing an exceptional level of service. They're positioned in North Sydney and are seeking an Account Executive with Commerical Insurance experience, specifically as an Insurance Broker.
A competitive salary of up to $90,000 is available for the successful candidate.
Key Duties
- Reviewing proposal forms
- Liaise with clients
- New business development
- Review insurance programs for existing and prospect clients
- Negotiating with underwriters
- Review quotations
- Claims handling
- Preparing renewal reports for clients comparing insurance policies
- Form and implement broking strategy
- Advising on risk exposures
Key Requirements
- Technical product knowledge for Commercial Insurance products
- Previous booking experience
- Minimum 3 years working within an Insurance Broker
- Tier 1 qualified or desire to undertake the Tier 1
- Excellent communication skills - comfortable in a high volume environment
- A natural leader, one who is happy to lead by example
- Not afraid to step up and lead the team when the manager is unavailable
- Relationship management skills
