Blake Oliver Consulting is committed to achieving equality and diversity throughout the organisation and it is an important tenet of our brand. We oppose all forms of discrimination.

Consultants, customers and candidates are treated fairly and equally. Selection for employment, promotion, training, transfer or any other benefit will be on the basis of aptitude, ability, merit, qualification and fitness for the job. Internally and externally, we help and encourage to develop their full potential and the talents and resources of the workforce will be fully utilised to maximise the efficiency of the organisation.

Our aims are to:

  • Recruit employees on a fair and non-discriminatory basis
  • Select employees on a fair and non-discriminatory basis
  • Promote employees on a fair and non-discriminatory basis
  • Where necessary, to transfer employees on a fair and non-discriminatory basis.

We conform to robust principles to ensure diversity and equality within the workplace and ensure that our recruitment strategy positions Allianz as a company that values difference and inclusion.

This policy applies to:

  • Board members
  • All staff, including: managers and supervisors; full-time, part-time or casual, temporary or permanent staff; job candidates; student placements, apprentices, contractors, sub-contractors and volunteers;
  • How the company provides services to clients and how it interacts with other members of the public;

  • On-site, off-site or after-hours work; work-related social functions; conferences – wherever and whenever staff may be as a result of their duties;
  • Staff treatment of other staff, of clients, and of other members of the public encountered in the course of their duties.

In so far as this policy imposes any obligations on Blake Oliver Consulting, those obligations are not contractual and do not give rise to any contractual rights. To the extent that this policy describes benefits and entitlements for employees, they are discretionary in nature and are also not intended to be contractual. The terms and conditions of employment that are intended to be contractual are set out in an employee’s written employment contract.

Please refer to Appendix T to view our Equal Opportunity and Anti-Discrimination policy in full, which makes up part of our Employment Hero handbook provided to employees as part of their onboarding process. This is signed and agreed to prior to commencement of employment at Blake Oliver Consulting.
